Leaders Aren't Born, They're Made

Great tip, Dave. I usually try to connect people’s names to the context I met the person, to someone else I know (and I imagine both of them meeting and realizing they have the same name), to Bible characters, cartoon characters, movie characters, etc. Not easy, but worth the effort.

Tiago, that’s actually a great way to remember names and part of the strategy that’s used in Dale Carnegie courses as well to remember names. The more ridiculous and crazy the association, the more likely it will be that you’ll remember the name the next time you interact!

Just make sure you associate with the right cartoon!
“Hey, Bugs…err…Thumper…I mean Peter. No…Roger. That’s it! That’s the cartoon rabbit with whom I associated you!”
